We stayed at Family Hotel Sonata for a few days while hiking Musala nearby. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making calls for us and providing useful information about the area. The junior suite we stayed in was well-equipped, modern, quiet, and cozy, with the added bonus of a jacuzzi. The complementary buffet breakfast was delicious, with options like scrambled eggs and hot sausages. The hotel's location in the heart of town made it easy to access supermarkets and restaurants serving traditional Bulgarian and Italian cuisine. The view from our room of the idyllic mountains was absolutely breathtaking.

The hotel is conveniently situated near the center of the city, making it easy to explore and access various shops and supermarkets. It is also in close proximity to the beautiful RILA-Mountains, offering a great location for nature lovers. the rooms are comfortable and clean, with a nice bathtube for a relaxing experience. the staff is attentive and can speak different languages, providing excellent service.

The audio isolation could be improved, as there were occasional noise disturbances.

Loved the hot tub and steam bath, perfect for unwinding after a day of skiing. The staff even helped me organize a packed lunch for my hike. And guess what? They have free bikes, so I felt like a Tour de France champion!

Oh, how I adore climbing stairs with heavy luggage, especially for someone like me who loves a good workout. Who needs an elevator anyway?

The buffet breakfast is decent and will give you a good start to the day. With its basic amenities and attention to detail, you can expect a comfortable and enjoyable stay at this hotel.
